A time for reflection
and a time for
change

Wow! That’s a summer we’re not going to forget in a hurry. From the day Boris sent us all home on “Lockdown” to the day the kids are heading back to school…six months of mayhem.

So as my kids are trying on their uniforms (nothing like leaving it until the last minute) and we realise that my eldest has grown 8 inches and his arms are now longer than the average orangutans’, it feels like we’re all heading in the direction of “normality”.

But is it ever going to be the same again? Many have lost love ones and livelihoods.

We’re in a recession and it may well get worse. But we’re not going to dwell on that….NO!

What does the future hold?

We’re planning for a brighter future here at Revoco, so we’ve made some changes to make us stronger, and better equipped to handle the challenges at hand.

Sadly, we did have to say goodbye to a few of our colleagues who were focused on delivery. But on the flipside, we’ve welcomed some new faces, and we’re really excited to see what they’ll bring to the party – it’s all about Data and Digital at Revoco!

We’ve also launched our new subscription based RaaS offering for start-ups and scale-ups. We’re confident that the market is more than ready for this very relevant offering so if you haven’t already checked it out, then please visit our website. Feedback is always welcome.

Most exciting of all though, is our new “flexible working policy”. From 1st September this is the craic…

  • 4.5 day week. Revocians “down tools” at 2pm on a Friday – life is too short and we want our staff (and us obvs) to go and enjoy the weekend with family and friends.
  • Working from home. We don’t want to lose the amazing culture that we’ve created, but at the same time, if we have confidence and trust in our team they shouldn’t need to be tied to the office 5 days a week. So everyone can work from home 2 days a week – you don’t need a reason – just do it.
  • More holiday than you can shake a stick at! You get 25 days holiday, then a half-day on your birthday, and an extra day’s holiday every quarter if you’re on target for brilliance, plus all the bank holidays etc

Staying safe

We’ve been back in our beautiful offices for a while now (as soon as it was safe to do so) and we’ve planned out the space to ensure maximum social distancing. We operate a one-way system in and around our kitchen, and at this time of year we can take advantage of our roof terrace for one to one meetings or walking the dogs in the park – our “walkies and talkies”.

If you’re reading this and think you’d like to know more about life at Revoco then please get in touch. We’re always looking for exceptional people to join us.
