Full Stack Engineer
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days per week)
Salary: £61,000 + up to 20% annual bonus
We're working with an innovative technology business that's rethinking how software is built in an AI-first engineering environment. They're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who combines strong technical ability with a product mindset and enjoys collaborating across engineering, product, data, and research teams.
This is an opportunity to work in a modern engineering environment where AI-assisted development is the norm, and engineers are responsible for guiding, reviewing, and validating agent-generated code to deliver high-quality software.
What you'll be doing
- Build, maintain, and improve full stack applications using TypeScript, with exposure to Go beneficial.
- Work with AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot as a core part of your workflow.
- Review, validate, and improve AI-generated code to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Take ownership of testing, edge cases, and code quality regardless of how software is produced.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Data Science, Research, and Engineering to deliver commercially valuable solutions.
- Contribute to development workflows and continuously improve engineering practices.
- Help shape technical decisions while maintaining scalable architecture and engineering standards.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated commercial software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with TypeScript across modern web applications.
- Angular is the preferred front-end framework.
- Exposure to Go is highly beneficial.
- Hands-on experience using agentic AI development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) as part of day-to-day software development.
- A genuine product mindset, you enjoy understanding users, solving business problems, and building valuable products rather than simply delivering code.
- Experience writing clean, testable, production-ready software and reviewing code critically.
- Comfortable working across the full development lifecycle, including testing and CI/CD.
- Front-end testing experience with Playwright or Cypress.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, proactive approach.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflow pieces and priorities effectively.
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to continuously improve both your own skills and the wider engineering environment.
Bonus points for
- Experience improving AI-assisted development workflows.
- Identifying and preventing issues in AI-generated code.
- Mentoring other engineers or contributing to technical discussions.
If you're excited by the future of AI-assisted software engineering and want to work in a collaborative team where engineering excellence, product thinking, and continuous learning are genuinely valued, I'd love to hear from you.
