We're supporting a major Defence-sector data transformation programme and are looking for experienced Business Analysts to join a large-scale, business-critical delivery initiative.

 

You'll be joining a significant data transformation working across complex migration, reporting and analytics workstreams, helping drive delivery towards key programme milestones. This is a highly collaborative environment with multiple suppliers and stakeholders working together to modernise data platforms, reporting capability and enterprise information services.

 

This role will suit a hands-on BA / Technical BA who is comfortable working between business and technical teams, with strong experience across data migration, reporting and complex transformation programmes.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements across data migration and reporting workstreams
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog items
• Perform data analysis, data mapping and dataset validation
• Work closely with engineers, architects and delivery teams
• Support data quality, migration and reporting activities
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
• Contribute to Agile delivery practices and programme governance

 

Experience Required

• Strong Business Analysis experience
• Data migration programme experience
• Reporting and analytics project experience
• SQL capability and data analysis skills
• Requirements gathering and stakeholder management
• Agile delivery environments
• Experience within large, complex transformation programmes

 

Desirable

• AWS environments
• Pega exposure
• Defence or Government programme experience
• Data governance knowledge

 

Clearance Requirement

Candidates must hold valid SC Clearance from either:

• Current employment; or
• A previous assignment where SC has been active within the last 12 months

 

Unfortunately, candidates requiring a completely new SC application are unlikely to be considered.
