Job Title: Senior ML/LLM Engineer – Agentic Systems

Location: Germany, Remote

Salary: €110k base (flexible for experience) + equity

 

 

 

As a Senior ML/LLM Engineer, you will:

- Own end-to-end ML workflows: from data ingestion, feature engineering, model training and evaluation, to production deployment.

- Deep-dive into at least one core application domain:

- Price prediction

- Two-sided market design (ranking / recommendations)

- Agentic workflows using state-of-the-art LLMs

- Build production-grade LLM applications, including conversational agents and agentic systems with tool-using capabilities.

- Establish and enforce LLMops best practices:

- Design reproducible prompt-engineering workflows

- Manage model/version tracking

- Automate evaluation (e.g., using eval frameworks)

- Monitor latency, cost, and refine prompts based on performance metrics

- Set up performance tracking, alerting, and automated evaluation to ensure model health in production.

- Collaborate across product, engineering, and data science to translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Contribute to peer code reviews, tooling, and best practices for reproducible, production-grade ML.

 

 

Your Profile

- 5+ years in ML engineering, including ≥1 year with LLMs

- Strong Python fundamentals and production-grade coding practices (testing, CI/CD)

- Deep expertise in at least one of:

- Deep learning (PyTorch, Transformers)

- Ranking/matching algorithms

- LLMops (RAG, evals, fine-tuning, agentic workflows)

- Proven track record deploying containerized services at scale (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Clear communicator who can bridge data science, product, and engineering

- Master’s or PhD in ML, CS, Statistics, or related field

- Passionate about ML and deep learning; pride in clean, maintainable code; customer-centric

 

 

Must-Have / Ideal Experience

- Hands-on experience building conversational LLM applications and agentic systems

- Strong engineering ability: high-quality coding, architecture understanding

- Product sense: ability to influence product direction, prioritise, and communicate effectively with stakeholders

- Ability to understand how LLM application layers interact with backend and frontend

- Experience with LangChain/LangGraph, Python, TypeScript backend, PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP (GCP for LLMs, especially Gemini)

 

 

You should have at least a B1 level of proficiency in German.
