🚀 Junior Business Analyst – Technology / Software Development

 

📍 Location & Working Pattern

• 2–3 days per week onsite at the Head Office in Devon (South West), UK
• Applicants must be based in Devon or within a 1-hour commute of South Devon

 

💼 Contract Details

• Day rate contract (Outside IR35)
• 6 months initially
• £200–£300 per day (dependent on experience)

 

We’re looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join a growing technology team, supporting the delivery of software solutions within an Agile / Scrum environment.

 

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their BA career who’s confident engaging with stakeholders and keen to learn from experienced Senior Business Analysts.

 

🔧 The Role

• Support requirements gathering and documentation (user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria)
• Work closely with software development teams to clarify and refine requirements
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable outputs
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, refinement, sprint reviews)
• Receive hands-on guidance and direction from a Senior Business Analyst

 

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a Junior / Associate Business Analyst role (or equivalent)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in technology and software delivery environments
• Familiar with Agile / Scrum ways of working
• Confident producing clear, well-structured documentation
