As you might be able to tell, Iain was a ‘70’s child and we’re not sure his fashion sense has ever really improved!
After being told he was never going to be a fighter jet pilot in the RAF (blame Tom Cruise and Top Gun for that career aspiration) he decided to go to Uni to study Sports Science. Following his degree, and clearly not using anything he had learnt, he stayed up in Newcastle and did a short stint importing containers full of nick-knacks from the Far East and selling them to £ shops.
In 1996, The lure of London was calling and he fell into technology recruitment and this is where the journey began. In 2005, at the tender age of 32, he was one of the founders of Rethink Group, building up divisions from scratch and winning some loyal retail customers along the way. His last 3 years at Rethink were spent building out their Talent Management service, so he’s as comfortable in large 3 year outsource deals as he is with solving any of his clients’ Talent attraction pain points.
In 2017, he decided to use his good, bad and indifferent experience and go again! Revoco was born in January 2017 and commenced trading in March.
Outside of work, Iain can be seen messing about on his little yellow tractor and pretending to be a farmer. With 4 kids, he spends most weekends ferrying them from one party / sporting event / sleepover to another.
