Lead Go Developer Remote Optional, Jobs, 361
Lead Go Developer - Remote Optional

Location: London

Salary: £80,000- £90,000

Contract Type: Permanent

Ref. 361

The year is 2019; Go Engineers have it good.

Companies are battling to attract the best of the best of the best.

Your job options as someone experienced with Golang in London are bountiful.

So what’ll it take to get your attention?

  • It might be a holiday policy that puts the power into your hands.

  • You might like to work in an office stocked with talented engineering minds & free beer on tap.

  • ...or you might find the option to work remotely suits you better.

  • To make a move to a startup, you might need to see a generous offer of share options.

The tech-centric company I’m hiring for offer all of the above & they’re eager to welcome another member into their growing clan.

They’re a small, but extremely successful AI & IoT startup who hold data in the highest esteem – they’re whipping the proverbial rug from the feet of their competitors.

They want to speak with Lead / Principal Go Engineers toying with the idea of a move. Specifically, those who are eager to take ownership over cloud architectures & microservice builds. They’re offering a true playground of autonomy to the right person.

In terms of experience, they’re ideally looking for someone with the following:

  • Golang (2 years’ experience & above)

  • 5 years'+ commercial software engineering experience.

  • K8s / Kubernetes & containerisation tooling.

  • AWS & it’s bells & whistles

  • NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB & beyond)

  • GraphQL experience will help, but it’s not essential.

This is a hands on development position. As the business continues to grow, so will your team. The role will suit both those with existing leadership experience & those looking to take a step-up.

If you’d like to have an informal chat about whether the role is a good fit for you, please apply to the advert or message me on LinkedIn & I’ll be in touch to arrange a time to speak.
