Elliot grew up as one of 6 children in North Petherton, Somerset. He spent his childhood years competing with his siblings and playing cricket for his local cricket team. He also enjoyed acting as a child and took part in several local productions; the highlight was reaching the last 6 candidates for the lead lead role in the Harry Potter movies.

At the age of 21, Elliot decided to explore a life outside of Somerset. He opted to fly the nest to Cardiff where he studied Business. He loved his 3 years in Wales studying at Glamorgan University and sampling the various clubs and pubs that the welsh capital had to offer. His time in Cardiff also included a full season of holding the role of Bruiser the Bear (Cardiff Blue’s official Match Day Mascot).

After completing his diploma and realising that Bruiser was not a sustainable career option, Elliot decided to move to Bristol and pursue a career in recruitment. He started his journey with SThree Computer Futures where he picked up some vital contract recruitment skills and gained exposure to the technical markets, focussing on embedded software. He then moved on to spend 4.5 years covering various technical IT markets for Sanderson Recruitment, RSG. Following the arrival of Elliot’s son Reuben, he decided a change of environment was required, which promoted him to give a stab at internal recruitment for Civica. However, he soon missed the pace and buzz of agency recruitment and felt Revoco would offer the ideal environment to flourish as a consultant.

In his spare time, Elliot is a keen Oasis fanatic and avid Glastonbury goer- having only missed it once since he was born! His weekends are now spent enjoying quality time with his son and learning the ropes as a parent!

With a wealth of knowledge of the IT, Change and Digital recruitment sectors from his years of working in this space, Elliot is equipped to deliver for his clients whatever their requirements.
